This past week of October 30, highway illumination and Incident Management System (IMS) work continued along Route 8 southbound at Exits 17, 16, and 14, toward Exit 13. The following work will take place in the next two weeks:
Weeks of November 6 and November 13:
- Nighttime from 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
- Installation of light pole base foundations and cables along Route 8 southbound at Exits 17, 13 and 14
- Installation of light poles along Route 8 northbound at Exit 13, and along Route 8 southbound at Exit 15
This work consists of trenching and backfilling, installing light pole foundations, and installing cable between the foundations.
